June 25, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Wednesday's trading session at 122,761.64, showing an increase of 515.01 points or 0.42%.

The index traded in a range of 1,087.79 points showing an intraday high of 123,256.55 (+1,009.92) and a low of 122,168.76 (-77.87) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 221.15 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 55 closed up, 41 closed down, 3 were unchanged, while 1 remained untraded.

Top gainers during the day were FHAM (+10.01%), BNWM (+10.00%), HUMNL (+9.19%), GHGL (+8.81%), and NATF (+7.99%).

On the other hand, top losers were PGLC (-6.18%), SAZEW (-3.23%), AGL (-1.80%), ISL (-1.77%), and SRVI (-1.77%).

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were BAHL (+107.97pts), HBL (+100.27pts), FATIMA (+68.89pts), DGKC (+50.18pts), and NATF (+44.83pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were HUBC (-62.79pts), UBL (-57.16pts), ENGROH (-33.83pts), SAZEW (-25.88pts), and MARI (-22.32pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+279.46pts), Cement (+103.85pts), Fertilizer (+98.76pts), Food & Personal Care Products (+37.75pts), and Glass & Ceramics (+31.72pts).

While the index was let down by Power Generation & Distribution (-74.38pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-33.15pts), Automobile Assembler (-29.91pts), Leather & Tanneries (-13.63pts), and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (-11.73pts).

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 76,639.55 with a net gain of 415.66 points or 0.55%.

Total market volume was 749.80 million shares compared to 804.78m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs28.03 billion showing a decrease of Rs9.58bn.

There were 312,320 trades reported in 471 companies with 273 closing up, 161 closing down, and 37 remaining unchanged.
