PSX Closing Bell: Slippin’ into the Red

December 03, 2025 (MLN): KSE100 Index closed Wednesday's trading session at 166,145.34 showing a decrease of 0.89 percent or 1,496.93 points.

The index traded in a range of 2,045.71 points showing an intraday high of 168,160.88 (+518.6) and a low of 166,115.17 (-1,527.11) points.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 258.78 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 23 closed up, 76 closed down while 1 remained unchanged.

KSE100 Index was let down by Fertilizer with 505.63, Commercial Banks with 354.74, Cement with 139.49, Power Generation & Distribution with 116.97 and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. with 114.79 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were FFC with 401.34, MEBL with 141.2, UBL with 105.98, HUBC with 105.15 and ENGROH with 104.02 points.

KSE100 index was supported by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 10.93, Woollen with 1.08, Vanaspati & Allied Industries with 0.43, Sugar & Allied Industries with 0.41 and Pharmaceuticals with 0.4 points.

Companies adding points to the index were TRG with 58.08, OGDC with 42.85, PIOC with 42.65, FABL with 35.36 and PPL with 20.52 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 100,565.3 with a net loss of 614.58 points.

Total market volume was 593.079 million shares compared to 775.54 million from the previous session with traded value being recorded at Rs.44.42 billion showing an increase of Rs.6.93 billion.

There was 351,396 trades reported in 472 companies with 135 closing up, 291 closing down and 46 remaining unchanged.
