NIC Hyderabad startups cross Rs1bn revenue in three years

September 22, 2025 (MLN): Startups incubated at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Hyderabad have generated more than Rs1bn in revenue in just three years.

A milestone celebrated at the center’s third anniversary and the graduation of 32 startups from its 4th and 5th cohorts.

 The incubation hub has also attracted Rs470 million in investment and created over 4,100 jobs, firmly positioning Hyderabad on Pakistan’s digital map.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, as Chief Guest, along with senior representatives from the Ministry, Ignite, LMKT, PTCL, academia, and the business community.

In her remarks, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Prime Minister’s Digital Nation Vision, commending the resilience of Pakistani entrepreneurs who are driving economic growth, creating jobs, and showcasing the country’s innovation on the global stage.

Ignite CEO Rafique Ahmed Buriro emphasized that NIC Hyderabad demonstrates how entrepreneurship can thrive beyond Pakistan’s major cities, while LMKT Vice President Asim Ishaq Khan highlighted the scaling of Hyderabad-based startups across the country and internationally.

Project Director NIC Hyderabad, Sayed Sana Shah, reflected on the center’s journey, noting its role in fostering entrepreneurship and building a vibrant digital ecosystem in the region.

The graduation ceremony not only celebrated the grit and creativity of 32 startups but also reinforced NIC Hyderabad’s growing importance as a catalyst for innovation and digital transformation in Pakistan.
