Mari Energies secures provisional petroleum exploration rights in Balochistan

November 07, 2025 (MLN): Mari Energies Limited (PSX:MARI) has been provisionally granted petroleum exploration rights over Block 28-North (3068-11), located in the province of Balochistan.

The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has awarded the block to Mari Energies Limited on a provisional basis, the company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

The company stated that it is currently coordinating with the Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions (DGPC) for the finalization and execution of the Petroleum Concession Agreement (PCA) and the Exploration Licence (EL).

The process will be completed in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.

Mari Energies noted that the award remains subject to the final execution of relevant agreements with the Government of Pakistan.
