September 7, 2021 (MLN): The yellow metal prices dipped on Tuesday in the domestic bullion market as the price of single tola 24 karat gold dented by Rs400 to Rs112,000 from Rs112,400 recorded on Monday, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs343 to Rs96,022 against the price of Rs96,365, while 10-gm 22 karat gold traded at Rs88,020.

However, the price of per tola and 10-gram silver remained stable at Rs1,430 and Rs1,226 respectively.

In the international market, gold rates fell further by $12 to $1,812 per ounce as a firmer dollar and a rise in U.S. Treasury yields dented demand for safe-haven bullion. Meanwhile, silver was valued at $24.32 an ounce.
