European stocks diverge at open

July 12, 2021: European stock markets traded narrowly mixed at the open on Monday after closing out last week with strong gains.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dropped 0.3 percent to 7,098.77 points.
In the Eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.2 percent to 15,714.40 points and the Paris CAC 40 dipped 0.1 percent to 6,520.21.
