Weekly SPI edges up by 0.15 percent

December 4, 2018 (MLN): Sensitive Price Index (SPI) for combined group during the week ended November 29, 2018, has edged up by a margin of 0.15% over the one ended on November 22, 2018.

Compared to the corresponding week last year, SPI has leapt up by 6.24%, reveals official data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Out of the 53 essential items that are scrutinized, average prices of 13 items have soared, 7 items have declined whereas average prices of the remaining 33 items remained unchanged.
