Macter International board recommends 5-for-1 share split

September 23, 2026 (MLN): Macter International Limited (PSX:MACTER) has proposed a subdivision of its ordinary shares, reducing the face value from Rs 10 to Rs 2 per share, aimed to enhance market liquidity, improve investor accessibility and align the stock's price with broader market participation.

Under the proposal, shareholders will receive 5 ordinary shares of Rs 2 each for every 1 ordinary share of Rs 10 held as of the effective date, subject to regulatory approvals.

The Board of Directors of the Company considered and recommended the move in a meeting held on September 22, 2026, for approval by shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, in compliance with Section 85(1)(c) of the Companies Act, 2017.

As a result, the company's issued, subscribed and paid-up share capital will be restructured from 45,811,018 ordinary shares of Rs 10 each to 229,055,090 ordinary shares of Rs 2 each, with no change in the total paid-up capital.

The Memorandum and Articles of Association will be altered to incorporate the subdivision accordingly.
