WB cooperating with Punjab government for promotion of tourism

World Bank is cooperating with Punjab government for the promotion of tourism in the province.

A World Bank report says it will provide funds for “Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth” project designed to create a robust institutional framework for tourism sector.

Under the project, private sector will be encouraged to play its role in this regard. The project will considerably increase the tourism income of the country.

There are numerous religious and heritage sites in Punjab, which are a source of attraction for people around the world.
