SCRA ends week around Rs29bn

September 24, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs.1.215bn during the week ending Sep 18, 2026 to close at Rs.28.98bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.8.32bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.42.67bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.12.16bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.20.78bn while dividend received was Rs.9.74bn.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.41.46bn.

Outward remittances were Rs.12.15bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.29.10bn and total tax paid was Rs.211.06 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-2.74bn, Rs.-14.16bn and Rs.12.92bn to close at Rs.565.35bn, Rs.92.54bn and Rs.60.45bn.
