Update 3: PKR secures around five rupees in intraday trade

June 23, 2022 (MLN): Riding the upward trail, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) has appreciated by around five rupees in the interbank market against the US dollar during intraday trade.

The local unit is being quoted at 207.07/207.32 per USD [12:12 PST] compared to the previous close of PKR 211.93 per USD.

Within the open market, the local unit is being traded at PKR 207.50/209 per USD.
