Unity Foods sells 103,260,690 shares to Unity Wilmar Agro

July 23, 2020 (MLN): The Chief Executive Officer of Unity Foods Limited, Mr. Muhammad Farrukh has on July 23, 2020, transferred 40,000,000 shares in the company, constituting approximately 7.35% of the shareholding interest in the company to Unity Wilmar Agro (Private) Limited for an aggregate price of Rs. 400 million.

Mr. Safdar Sajjad, the spouse of one of the Directors of the company, has on the same date sold and transferred 21,762,000 shares in the company, constituting 4% of the shareholding interest in the company to UWA for an aggregate consideration of Rs. 217.62 million.

The company has also received corresponding information from UWA that it has acquired 41,498,690 shares from Ms. Fehmida Amin, besides the 40,000,000 and 21,762,000 shares acquired from Mr. Muhammad Farrukh and Mr. Safdar Sajjad, respectively.
