Thatta Cement denies sale rumours

November 12, 2021 (MLN): Thatta Cement (THCCL) has rebuffed rumours circulating on social media regarding the sale of the company.

In a notification to Exchange, the company categorically refuted such rumours and strongly conveyed the message to its stakeholders that they do not pay attention to any such rumours, false news and/or reports regarding the sale of the Company whether it is broadcasted in electronic media, published in a newspaper newswire, magazine or any other publication unless confirmed by the authorized officer of the Company on relevant forums.

The company further clarified that its sponsors, major shareholders and directors have no connection nor assume any liability regarding the above-cited false news.

As of now [9:59 am], the share price of the company dropped by 1.59% DoD and is currently trading at PKR27.89.
