No fertilizer shortage expected for upcoming season
Pakistan is expected to have a comfortable and uninterrupted supply of urea and DAP fertilizers for both the ongoing Rabi 2025–26 season and the upcoming Kharif 2026 season, with sufficient buffer stocks and stable production ensuring no shortages during peak sowing periods.

Fertilizer offtake jumps 11% YoY in June 2025
The country’s overall nutrient offtake in June 2025 rose sharply to 407 thousand tonnes, showing a 11% increase compared to June 2024, according to the latest monthly fertilizer report issued by the National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC).
