SECP, FMU to conduct capacity-building session for PSX & PMEX brokers

May 06, 2024 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in collaboration with the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU) will hold a capacity-building session for brokers of PSX and PMEX on May 14, 2024.

The aim is to create awareness among SECP-regulated persons relating to the understanding of the role of the FMU, goAML, filing of STRs/CTRs and sector-specific queries.

It will also foster an understanding of the beneficial ownership ecosystem and the increasing potential risks associated with the misuse of legal persons.
