SBP reserves decrease by $118.9mn in a week

May 25, 2023 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) decreased by $118.9 million or 2.75% WoW to $4.19 billion during the week ended on May 19, 2023, according to the data released by the central bank on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves decreased by $206.4mn or 2.07% WoW to $9.73bn.

On the other hand, the reserves held by commercial banks moved up by $87.5mn or 1.55% WoW to $5.53bn.
