SBP, NBP to keep authorized branches open on June 30

June 19, 2020: The field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation and authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will observe extended banking hours on June 30, 2020, till 7:00 P.M. for cheques collection and 10:00 P.M. for cash counters, for which purpose a special clearing has been arranged at 7:00 P.M. on the same day by the NIFT.

According to a Press Release issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, the aforementioned decision has been taken in order to facilitate the collection of Government receipts/duties/taxes.

All banks have been, therefore, advised to keep their concerned branches open on June 30, 2020 (Tuesday) till such time that is necessary to facilitate the special clearing for Government transactions.
