Saudi Arabia seeks investment opportunities, stronger ties with Pakistan

September 08, 2023 (MLN): Saudi Arabia on Thursday expressed investment opportunities in Pakistan to deepen bilateral economic and trade ties, said a press release issued by the finance division on the same day.

During a meeting with Mr. Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Caretaker Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Shamshd Akhtar appreciated the long-standing historical, religious, and cultural ties between the two countries.

The Minister also apprised the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia of the continuation of policies and programs of the government to bring economic prosperity to the country.

The Ambassador reciprocated the sentiments and reiterated that the long-term relationships of both brotherly countries are timeless.

Both sides expressed the desire to foster economic partnerships that can benefit both nations and contribute to regional stability and prosperity.

They agreed to continue working closely to explore concrete steps for economic collaboration and to promote mutual cooperation.
