Petrol up Rs1.63, diesel up Rs1.55 effective July 29

July 29, 2026 (MLN): The government has raised the price of petrol by Rs1.63 per liter to Rs335.81, and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs1.55 per liter to Rs388.38, effective July 29, 2026.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revised ex-depot prices have been notified by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) based on the pricing mechanism issued by the federal government.

Under the current mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies petroleum prices on a daily basis. The previous prices, effective July 28, were Rs334.18 per liter for petrol and Rs386.83 per liter for HSD.
