Remittances on rise, surge by 9.36% in January FY20: Hafeez Shaikh

February 14, 2020 (MLN): Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue has said that the remittances are on the rise, during the month on January 2020, remittances surged by 9.36% as compared to January 2019.

In a tweet yesterday, he said that during Jul -Jan FY20, remittances grew by 4.5% to $13.3 billion compared to $12.74 billion during the same period of last year.
