Re-composition: BIPL, BWCL, PKGP, SPWL added to KSE-100 index

September 18, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has carried out the Re-Composition exercise of KSE-100 Index Companies for the review period from March 2023 to August 2023, as per the Re-Composition Rules of the KSE-100 Index.

In terms of market capitalization-based rule, the incoming companies are BankIslami Pakistan Limited (PSX: BIPL), Bestway Cement Limited (PSX: BWCL), Pakgen Power Limited (PSX: PKGP), and Saif Power Limited (PSX: SPWL).

The four to leave are; Air Link Communication Limited (PSX: AIRLINK), Atlas Honda Limited (PSX: ATLH), Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (PSX: HCAR), and Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSX: PSMC).

The above changes in the KSE-100 Index will be implemented from Monday, October 02, 2023.

In addition, the notice also listed the revised list of 100 companies in the recomposed index.
