PSX to remain closed on December 25 on account of Christmas, Quaid-e-Azam Day

December 20, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) will remain closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, on account of Quaid-e-Azam Day / Christmas, the bourse informed through a notice sent to all TRE certificate holders on Wednesday.

“All TRE Certificate Holders, Staff, and concerned are hereby informed that PSX will remain closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, being a Public Holiday declared by the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day / Christmas,” the notice reads.

The holiday is observed to celebrate the birthday of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, and Christmas.
