PSX requests all listed companies to disseminate price-sensitive information immediately

December 13, 2019 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has requested all listed companies to immediately disseminate all price-sensitive information relating to the business and other affairs that may affect the market price of its shares.

As per the notice sent out by PSX in this regard, all listed companies are required to clarify/confirm or deny the rumor or false information and set forth the facts sufficient to clarify the same in writing to the Exchange, within one day of such publication/broadcast.

Moreover, these companies are required to respond promptly to the Exchange by giving sufficient information regarding unusual movements in the price or trading volume in order to clarify its position.

The notice further stated that failure to comply with the above-stated requirements shall attract initiation of punitive proceedings.
