PSX recomposes KSE-100 Index

September 14, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has conducted the re-composition exercise of the KSE-100 Index from March 2024 to August 2024, a notice issued by the local bourse on Friday revealed.

In accordance with the relevant index rules, seven adjustments have been made to the index.

The below-mentioned changes in the KSE-100 Index will be implemented w.e.f. Tuesday, October 01, 2024.

The incoming companies are Kohinoor Spinning Mills (PSX: KOSM), JDW Sugar Mills (PSX:JDWS), Sazgar Engineering Works (PSX: SAZEW), Air Link Communication (PSX: AIRLINK), Mehmood Textile Mills (PSX: MEHT), Atlas Honda (PSX: ATLH), and Honda Atlas Cars (PSX: HCAR).

The seven to leave are; Gadoon Textile Mills (PSX: GADT), Habib Sugar Mills (PSX: HABSM), BankIslami Pakistan (PSX: BIPL), Century Paper & Board Mills (PSX: CEPB), Kohinoor Textile Mills (PSX: KTML), Shifa International Hospitals (PSX: SHFA), and Saif Power (PSX: SPWL).

KOSM and JDWS have replaced GADT and HABSM based on Sector-Based Rule, while the remaining four changed are bases on the Market Capitalization Rule.
