PSX investors to pay CGT on April 30, 2024: NCCPL

April 23, 2024 (MLN): The aggregate amount of CGT arising on the disposal of shares at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) for the period March 01, 2024 to March 30, 2024, would be collected on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 through respective settling banks of the Clearing Members.

This was disclosed by the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) through a notice issued on PSX today.

"All Clearing Members are hereby requested to ensure requisite amount in their respective settling bank’s account," the notice reads.

Necessary details and reports for the said period have already been made available in the CGT System.

Further, the aggregate amount of CGT arising on redemption of units of open end mutual funds have also been finalized for the period March 01, 2024 to March 30, 2024.
