Wednesday marked the eighth successive negative close for KSE100 Index as it lost another 111.48 points to close at 32,154.17. The market had started on a postive note as the Index touched an intraday high of 32,484.75 (+219.10) points, however it could not sustain the early gains and the market gradually declined touching a low of 32,059.54 (-206.11) towards the end of the session. The index traded in a range of 425.21 points or 1.32% of previous close. Total Volume fell to 115 million shares compared to 127 million from the previous session while market cap decreased by Rs 25 Billion. A total of 329 companies were traded out of which 101 closed up, 200 closed down while 28 remained unchanged.
