President lauds efforts of ExxonMobil to re-enter in Pakistan’s LNG sector

April 30, 2019: President Arif Alvi says the government is committed to provide conducive environment for investment to the investors by enhancing ease of doing business.

Talking to Chairman, LNG Market Development, ExxonMobil, Alex Volkov, who along with a delegation called on him on Tuesday, he emphasized the need for collaborations of foreign investors with local partners in the form of joint ventures.

He also urged ExxonMobil and other foreign investors to take benefit of the liberal foreign investment policy of the Government.

The President appreciated the efforts of the ExxonMobil to re-enter in the Pakistani Market in LNG sector.

He encouraged ExxonMobil for further investment in the upstream petroleum sector of Pakistan.

The President was also briefed by the ExxonMobil delegation about their current and future ventures in Pakistan.
