PPL commences Extended Well Testing production from Dhok Sultan X-1

November 19, 2019: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has announced the commencement of Extended Well Testing (EWT) production from the discovery well Dhok Sultan X-1 belonging to the Dhok Sultan Joint Venture.

According to the company’s notification, PPL is the operator of this joint venture whereas 25% interest is held by Government Holding (Private) Limited.

The notice further informed that the sales are currently approximately 550 barrels per day of oil and 0.7 MMscfd of associated gas.

The company is taking measures to increase production and flow the well at an optimum level.
