JSCL approves Rs87m investment in EFU Life rights shares

October 14, 2026 (MLN): A further long-term equity investment of Rs86,963,390 in EFU Life Assurance Limited, an associated company, has been approved by the board of directors of Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd. (PSX: JSCL) at its meeting held on October 14, 2026.

The investment will be made by subscribing to 8,696,339 right shares of EFU Life Assurance at the par value of Rs10 each. It is subject to the passing of a special resolution by shareholders.

To obtain the requisite shareholders’ approval, the board has also approved holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on November 06, 2026, in Islamabad.
