POL prices surged by up to Rs6/litre

September 16, 2021 (MLN): The government on Wednesday decided to increase the price of petroleum products by up to Rs6 per litre owing to the fluctuations in Petroleum prices in the international market and exchange rate variation.

According to a notice issued by Finance Division, the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) have moved up by Rs5 and Rs5.01 per litre, respectively. While, the prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil enhanced by Rs5.46 and 5.92 per litre.

The new prices of Petrol, HSD, Kerosine oil, and Light diesel now stands Rs 123.30, Rs120.04, Rs92.26, and Rs90.69 per litre respectively.

The new prices are effective from Today, September 16, 2021 for the next fifteen days.
