PMEX Commodity Index up by 77 points

June 30, 2020: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index gained 77 points and closed at 4,383- level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.834 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,774.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.646 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.269 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 736.626 million), Crude Oil (PKR 589.360 million), DJ (PKR 502.141 million), Silver (PKR 439.782 million), Natural Gas (PKR 282.002 million), Platinum (PKR 193.429 million), SP500 (PKR 173.175 million) and Copper (PKR 1.813 million).

In agriculture commodities, 6 lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 24.362 million and 7 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.500 million were traded.
