PMEX Commodity Index ends at 4,306 points

June 29, 2020: On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,306. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 14.024 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,505.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.092 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.344 billion), DJ (PKR 745.808 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 628.629 million), Silver (PKR 624.853 million), Copper (PKR 560.969 million), Crude Oil (PKR 431.499 million), Platinum (PKR 287.735 million), SP500 (PKR 235.823 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 71.618 million).

In agriculture commodities, 6 lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 23.905 million and 2 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.000 million were traded.
