PMEX Commodity Index ends 14 points higher

April 17, 2020: On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index edged higher by 14 points and closed at 3,663-level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.159 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,891.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.529 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 908.681 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 479.315 million), Crude Oil (PKR 405.645 million), Silver (PKR 312.542million), SP500 (PKR 251.880 million), Platinum (PKR 120.253 million), DJ (PKR 89.614 million), Natural Gas (PKR 61.579 million) and Copper (PKR 0.767 million).

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 13.442 million and 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.882 million were traded.
