PKR closes at an all-time low

March 28, 2019 (MLN): Pakistani Rupee has closed the first session of today’s interbank trade at an all-time low of PKR 140.29 per US Dollar (USD).

Against yesterday’s closing value, the depreciation is marginal as the greenback was quoted at PKR 140.28 at previous closing.

The swap rates however have come down by 10 to 20 paisa’s for 2 months to 1 year.

The local currency appreciated by 60 paisa against GBP (PKR 184.5) and by 27 paisa against EUR (PKR 157.89).
