PIA Holding appoints Dr. Ayesha Khan as new board director

August 13, 2024 (MLN): The PIA Holding Company Limited (PSX: PIAHCLA) has appointed Dr. Ayesha Khan as a director on the company's board with effect from August 12, 2024.

The company updated market participants on this through a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

PIAHCLA is a public limited company incorporated under the laws of Pakistan and is currently wholly - owned by the government through its nominees i.e. Secretary Aviation Division, Secretary Privatization Division and Secretary Finance Division.

The Holdco has been established by the GOP to succeed in specified assets, liabilities, and subsidiaries of Pakistan Internation Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) including specific business, property, rights, liabilities, and obligations of PIA.

At the time of writing, the company's scrip is trading under the red zone, down by 90 paisa or 4.97% compared to the previous closing.
