PBM and HMR Forge partnership with MoU

January 29, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and Hum Mashal-e-Rah Foundation (HMR) agreed to build a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In a related ceremony held in Islamabad, Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director of PBM, graced the event as the chief guest, according to the press release.

The MoU outlines the commitment of both organizations to collaborate on implementing an effective delivery mechanism at PBM’s Business Facilitation Centre.

This initiative aims to create job opportunities for trainees from Women Empowerment Centres while enhancing their professional skills and abilities, the press release added.

The agreement also outlines that the partner organizations will collaborate to empower underprivileged and differently-abled females, helping them become self-sufficient and respected members of society, the statement said.

Addressing the ceremony, the MD of PBM described the event as significant for women’s empowerment.

He highlighted that women entrepreneurs have a vital role to play in the socio-economic development of the country, the statement added.
