Pakistan's International tourist arrivals triples in last three years

The number of International tourists were visiting Pakistan tripled in the last three-year said senior official of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) on Monday.

He said that there was 80 percent increase in hotel bookings in Northern Areas and Galiyat, and domestic as well as international tourists are increasing in the country.

He said most hotels resumed their services in Northern areas and Galiyat, adding that number of hotel managements upgraded their hotels to facilitate more tourists.

He said 2018 was declared the best travel destination by British Backpacker and more international tourists had to visit Pakistan to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and mountains.

He said that PTDC would provide all possible support to international tourists, adding that Tourists Information Centers computerized to facilitate tourists more efficiently.

An International tourist Lisa Markel visited Pakistan for the first time, she enjoyed the clam and mesmerizing landscapes of the county during her visit to Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan.

She said that Pakistan is perfect for any tourists to come and enjoy beautiful scenic areas.
