SCRA balance rises by Rs647m during week

July 03, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs.646.98 million during the week ending Jun 26, 2026 to close at Rs.26.93 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.1.38 billion.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.49.56 billion through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.10.99 billion, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.38.15 billion while dividend received was Rs.419.80 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.48.92 billion.

Outward remittances were Rs.12.13 billion, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.36.77 billion and total tax paid was Rs.11.09 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-2.70 billion, Rs.-466.13 million and Rs.333.32 million to close at Rs.615.01 billion, Rs.104.32 billion and Rs.42.19 billion.
