Pakistan Receives USD 1.46 Billion Remittances in January

According to figures released by the Central Bank, Pakistan received remittances amounting to USD 1,462.87 Million in the month of January. Compared to December, the remittances declined by 10.64 percent. However, compared to January 2015 the remittances grew by 4.21 percent. In the 7 months of FY16, Pakistan has received a total of USD 11,198.18 Million compared to 10,565.90 received in the corresponding period of FY15, an increase of 5.98%.
