Pakistan, Qatar to upgrade bilateral ties in diverse fields

July 25, 2019: Pakistan and Qatar have reaffirmed the resolve to comprehensively upgrade bilateral relations in diverse fields including trade, investment, energy, aviation, agricultural, tourism, manpower and people to people contacts.

The resolve came at a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani at Doha, where Prime Minister Imran Khan made a stopover on his way back to Pakistan after successful visit to the United States of America.

The two Prime Ministers held wide-ranging meeting during which matters pertaining to bilateral ties were discussed.

Prime Minister Imran Khan recalled the recent visit of the Amir of Qatar to Pakistan and thanked Qatar for its economic support.

The positive contribution of Pakistani community in Qatar was also lauded.

The Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also hosted a banquet dinner in the honor of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his delegation.
