Pakistan promotes trade links with regional countries: BOI

July 15, 2019: Chairman Board of Investment Zubair Gilani says Pakistan is pursuing the policy of promoting stronger trade links with regional countries to increase its exports and slash the trade deficit.

Talking to APP, he said the government is determined to steer the Board towards promoting regional trade and export-led growth besides encouraging investment culture in the country.

Zubair Gilani said nine Special economic Zones being established along the China Pakistan Economic Corridor would provide huge opportunity for the foreign and local investors.

He said public private partnership in industries will be helpful in growing the local industry and attracting foreign investor for joint ventures.
