Pakistan hosts event to celebrate Arab Health 2025 success

January 28, 2025 (MLN): The Trade and Investment Section of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai organized a Business Networking Dinner to celebrate the successful participation of Pakistani exhibitors at Arab Health 2025, one of the leading global healthcare exhibitions.

Mr. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, highlighted the significance of fostering business-to-business connections and urged exhibitors to actively pursue partnerships and collaborations in the global healthcare market, emphasizing the potential for growth and innovation in the industry.

In his address to the gathering, Consul General Hussain Muhammad underscored the importance of Pakistan’s representation on a prestigious global platform like Arab Health 2025, according to the press release.

He reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to supporting the business community in their efforts to expand and thrive in the region, emphasizing the pivotal role such participation plays in showcasing Pakistan's potential in the global healthcare industry.

In his remarks, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi praised Pakistani entrepreneurs for their outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical and medical surgery sectors, which have garnered international recognition for their quality and innovation.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the Pakistan Consulate’s Commercial Section and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for their pivotal role in providing Pakistani companies with the opportunity to showcase their products on such a prestigious global platform.

The event was attended by Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, Mr. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, leading businessmen, Pakistani exhibitors, and senior officials of the diplomatic mission.

The evening also featured insights from Professor Dr. Javed Akram, a renowned Pakistani physician and medical researcher, as well as Mr. Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai.

They highlighted the potential for Pakistani healthcare innovations to make a significant impact on the international stage.

While addressing the audience, Mr. Bilal Tanweer Former Chairman SIMAP (Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan) appreciated the efforts of Commercial Section in aiding all the Exhibitors ensuring their participation in the event.

The networking event provided an excellent platform for visiting exhibitors to engage with industry counterparts, exchange ideas and explore new avenues for collaboration.
