Pakistan exports US $28 million worth of goods in July

Surgical goods and medical instruments worth US$ 28.532 million were exported during first month of current financial year as compared to the exports worth 30.022 million of the corresponding month of last year, witnessing about 4.96 percent decline in exports.

Meanwhile, cutlery products valuing US$ 6.940 million were exported in month of July, 2018-19 as compared to the exports of US$ 7.415 million of same month last year, showing negative growth of 6.41 percent.

According the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, chemicals and pharmaceutical products worth of US$ 80.601 million were exported against US$ 86.528 million of same period last year.

Meanwhile, Pakistan earned US$ 16.397 million by exporting pharmaceutical products, which stood at US$ 19.621 million last year. During the period under review, 657 metric tons of pharmaceutical products were exported as compared to the 959 metric tons of same period last year.

During first month of current financial year, country earned US$ 43.111 million by exporting other chemicals as compared to the US$ 44.600 million of same month last year.
