PABC to enhance production capacity to 1200mn cans per annum

October 28, 2022 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited (PSX: PABC) on Wednesday approved a capital project with the aim of increasing the company's productivity by 1200 million cans per annum, the company's filing on PSX showed today.

At present, PABC produces 950 million cans a year. The approved project will also help to eliminate bottlenecks in existing capacities and equalize capacities for all processes.

The commercial operations of this project will commence in July 2023.
