October 02, 2018 (MLN): Debt & liabilities of state-run units were Rs. 1299 billion on June 30, 2018, Rs. 1052 billion on June 30, 2017 and Rs. 538 billion on June 30, 2008.

In FY18 debt and liabilities was 3.8% of GDP as compared to 2.3% in FY13 as they increased by Rs. 761 billion from FY13 to FY18

WAPDA debt was Rs. 9 billion in FY08 and Rs. 131 billion on June 30, 2018

PIAC debt was Rs. 61 billion in FY08 and Rs. 146 billion on June 30, 2018

Pakistan Steel debt was Rs. 36 billion in FY08 and Rs. 43 billion on June 30, 2018

Debt and liabilities other state-run units amounts to Rs. 743 billion in FY18 and Rs. 220 billion in FY13
