OGRA determines RLNG prices for January 2025

January 10, 2025 (MLN): Following the Federal Government's policy guidelines, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has determined the Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for January 2025.

The transmission price for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGP) has been reduced to $11.7288/MMBtu, reflecting a 1.98% decrease.

On the other hand, OGRA has increased the price for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) by 0.44%, bringing it to $10.5883/MMBtu.

The distribution price for SNGP has also decreased to $12.6667/MMBtu, a 1.18% reduction from last month’s $12.8997/MMBtu.

While the distribution price for SSGC stands at $12.6014/MMBtu, representing a 0.45% increase from $12.5456/MMBtu in December 2024.

The decrease in the RLNG price of SNGP (transmission & distribution) is due to the reduction in price differential as incorporated in the RLNG sale price.

However, a slight increase in RLNG SSGC price (transmission & distribution) is due to a slight increase in DES (delivered ex-ship) price.
