No plans to discontinue issuance of 5,000 notes: Finance ministry

May 31, 2019 (MLN): Spokesperson of Finance Ministry has said that Government has no plans to stop issuance of Rs 5,000 notes or notes of any other denomination.
In a tweet today, he said such speculations are totally baseless.
