No agreed target level for Exchange Rate: IMF

July 11, 2019 (MLN): The International Monetary Fund (IMF) issued a clarification about the exchange rate assumptions its Staff Report, saying there are no agreed target level for the Exchange rates.

In a small statement issued through its official social media, the IMF said “The published Staff Report on Pakistan includes exchange rate assumptions which are not predictions. Under the IMF-supported program there is not agreed target level for the exchange rate, which is market determined.”
