PSX recomposes KSE-100 Index, effective October 1

September 15, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange has carried out a re-composition of the KSE-100 and KSE-100PR indices for the review period spanning March to August 2026, bringing in four companies and dropping four others under the exchange's index rules, effective October 01, 2026.

Image Pakistan Limited, Thatta Cement Company Limited, Nishat Chunian Power Limited, and Bank Makramah Limited will join the benchmark index, replacing Hum Network Limited, Mehmood Textile Mills Limited, Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited, and Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited.

 Three of the four exits were driven by the market-capitalisation-based rule, while Hum Network's removal followed the sector-based rule.

With these changes, the KSE-100 will retain its 100-company composition across sectors including commercial banks, cement, fertilizer, oil and gas, textiles, power generation, and technology, among others, with the full revised list attached in the exchange's Annexure A.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
