NACTA and SECP sign MoU to curb terrorist financing

National Counter Terrorism Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan today signed a MoU to curb terrorist financing.

The MOU was signed by NACTA Chief Dr Suleman and Chairman SECP Shaukat Hussain in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suleman said the cooperation between NACTA and the SECP is of great importance in the backdrop of international scenario.

He said both the organizations will work together to build the capacity of law enforcement agencies. He said awareness will also be created against money laundering and terrorist financing.
